A little bit of skin...

Okay, a LOT a bit of skin! I just loved this outfit and ran home to my photo studio and took a ton of pictures. Those of you that perv my Flickr will probably notice that most of my pics end up here too, hope y'all aren't disappointed!
I couldn't help it, it wasn't like I didn't have ENOUGH Curio skins.. I just.. needed more. ^_^ I bought the April Redbud 1 in Sundust (with Freckles of course) and when I looked up from my buying haze who did I see? The one and only Gala Phoenix within arms reach of me! I totally considered fan girling it up and gushing about how much I loved her but instead I stomped down my inner psycho, perved cammed her from head to toe, and sighed and left. (psst. I love you Gala. <3 *squee*)
I also broke down and bought the Zaara headpiece and Maitraya hair. I love Zaara, don't get me wrong, but her stuff is SO expensive. I have a huge folder of her clothing and I find that I rarely wear it so dropping 400L for a headpiece seemed a little excessive. In the end though, I tried on the hair and then closed my eyes and hit buy (Yah I know, tricky, eh?). It's gorgeous! But.. am I the only one who couldn't get it to fit the hair even though the hair was made to fit it? I'm kind of impatient when it comes to these things so it could have just been me.

I'm feelin' Badass.

Today I needed something out of the norm, something that screamed, "Watch out world, I'm kickin' ass and takin' names.. ". I don't even have a reason why to be honest, I'm just feeling like 5 feet of total badass chica. (Okay so 5'7" in SL world, my RL height.. which is TINY by SL standards!)
I had to rummage through my virtual closet to come up with this ensemble and I have to say I'm pretty happy with the finished product. I have to admit, the hair is new, from Guaze, but it fit in so well with what I was wearing that I had to sport the kickass messytails.
The glasses are my absolute fave on the grid. They're from Primoptic and can be tinted any color (frame and lenses) and can even be worn on your head! The black cigarette (which incidentally I quit smoking rl so sue me if I love sucking up the nastage in SL) I believe I got on slex, searching by the maker of the product didn't come up with any information. Brown Bloggin' (Okay, that sounded gross, lol)

So I said I'd try to post one more time! This is actually what I have on today so it should be a quick and easy post. Atomic came out with this lovely hair for her group members only and it inspired an entire outfit! I love it, think it's totes gorgeous, and really inspired a quirky little quasi 80s theme out of me.

The cable sweater is from Tuli (without the shoulder poofs, I can never get those to look right). The shirt underneath is from Sh*t Luck, shark attack in brown. I haven't broken out the Skin Flicks Linen pants in ages but they seem to fit well with the entire ensemble. On my feet are the current subscriber group gift from G Fields. I've been a fan for ages, I've never seen anyone make rosettes as pretty as Cerberus Noel does and I have everything from shoes to necklaces to pretty rose hair pieces and can't help but buy more every time I'm there! Below is a closeup so you can really see how amazing they are. :)
The skin is the same, Curio Sundust Chocolate Peach 2 w/freckles. The earrings are from Creamshop (I'm wearing the small but there's several different sizes, glow options, and scripted color change options! One of my best earring purchases ever!). The necklace is a Locking Cable Tokon Collar.. don't ask. :P Umm.. I think that's it. ^_^ Much loves, sleepy time nao, kthxbai.

Teh Sexiness, Sassy Kitty Style

O.M.G... Seriously. Did anyone else do the VIP Key Hunt? I managed to find everything, and even loved a few pieces (very rare when I do hunts, believe me) and hands down, by FAR, is this absolutely adorably sexy dress from Sassy Kitty! I'm really tired tonight, had a biopsy on my neck today and it's killing me. So.. pics only, style credits maybe tomorrow after work. And possibly a post too. :P
What I like bestest about this outfit is how the bodice is separate from the rest of the dress showing the greatest underboob cleavage evar. Last post was beavage, now underboobage? What's with me liking to let my parts hang out? o.O
In this picture I'm wearing two pieces I got (both for free and at different hunts) from Genesis. I love LOVE the bracelet! The text can be changed to whatever you like (as long as it fits) and of course I was original and chose my own name, tee hee. The watch I'm pretty sure actually tells the sl time. What I loved about these items is that there were men's items in each folder and they were transfer, so I was able to pass the gifts along to one of my many fashion challenged mail friends. I adored Genesis so much I went back and bought some adorable script/metal changeable earrings (wearing) and a few necklaces (and pssst, a little birdie told me a ton of the skins are on sale too!) so definitely check them out.

Buttersports

Seriously now, I just like to look sporty.. I don't like to sweat unless I absolutely have to but I'd like to look like I have the potential for exercise at any given moment! Sorry about the slight absence, there's been some major RL health issues I have to deal with over the last week or so (feel free to ask in-world if you're really curious) and I'm just now getting back to the blog. I'll have a few back to back posts to make up for it, promise!



I love how an outfit just comes together. I saw these wicked cute shorts on the fashion feed and had to purchase them and out of nowhere Mischief posts that she's giving her hoodies away as a freebie! At least, I think it was freebs.. I know it was the fat pack and I know as soon as I caught it on the feeds I tp'd there post haste and snatched them in my grabby little hands It was instant love! The hoodie is wonderfully textured and comes with a sweet prim hood. The shorts are great, they come with prim cuffs and a prim string tie. on the front. I had to resize the cuffs like crazy though as my avatar is a bit petite.

Warning: If you're a bit prim and proper, the low waist line shows plenty of butt cleavage (what I like to call.. beavage).

I have to admit, the shoes from ETD I totally purchased. I already had them in black and purple and now I have them in Pewter. :) I knew I should have bought the fat pack when I had the chance, sigh.

My Second Post, My Second Life, and My Second Favorite Skin and Hair!

Pardon me if my blogging is a little.. blah. I'm fighting off a sinus infection (no, not Swine flu, tyvm) and I wanted to posty post before I went and took a nap! My rl sister (Dakotah Karu in-world, for those of you who don't know her, lol) is heading up to Canada to work on a cruise ship that travels in Alaska and we're having a going away party here for her tonight at a local bar and I need to recharge the batteries before I party hardy!



I thought for my second post I'd show you my second favorite hair and skin. The skin is Curio's new April line, with freckles of course! The lips on this skin are so plush and full, what you'd call kind of the "bee stung" look. I'm still trying to get used to them honestly but love this skin so much. The good thing about her skins is that I feel honestly like I don't have to wear prim lashes with them all the time and lord knows I've deleted many pairs that pissed me off after trying in vain to properly place them. Grr prim lashes!

The hair is from Chai, part of her new hair line. As far as I know, she only has two different styles and this is one of them, called Jude. When she first debuted them you got the fat pack for 135L! Not sure what they cost now though, lol. It's short and quirky and flips on one side and it's perfect for when I'm feeling playful and cute!

I've also decided to share with you the wonders of the bewb shader from Imagen. In the first picture below I'm not wearing it and as you can see you can tell I have boobs but there's not much definition. (hence the angry face, tee hee). In the second picture you can clearly see an enhanced bustline, shaded underneath and between my breasts. It's tintable, although honestly I usually just stick with black. It comes in three layers and seems to work amazingly well! I especially like buying men's shirts and wearing it because let's face it girls, most men's clothing is a hell of a lot cheaper. Plus, those freebie shirts you can get everywhere finally get a halfway decent look!



Oh and before I forget, I found an interesting dollarbie skin sitting in a box outside of Devotion, located near Fishy Strawberry. I'm not quite sure when I'll wear it yet but it's going right into my bulging inventory for future usage I'm sure! Okay, enough posting.. methinks I'm off to take a nap.
